Hello from Alaska!
I have just purchased my first Grundig,a type 6099.I also have a Blaupunkt Typ 4421 Arizona and a NordMende Globetrotter. But,my interest now is in the Grundig. Is this a common radio to find? With the internet,it is so easy to locate information now,but I am having a bit of a problem locating general info on Grundig and this 6099 in particular. I have been a collector/restorer for about 4 years now and by chance was able to purchase this radio. Thank you to anyone for your help.

Hello Steve,
your set is here in Germany well known. It was produced in 1958 in larger quantities. The price of the set was 598 DM in 1958. (Much money).
In my online service "What is your radio set worth ?" you can find 3 observed sales between 1997 and 2005 with an average collectors price of 90.00 EUR (approx. 110.00 USD) for this set.
