Hi everyone, thank you for allowing me to join your forum.
I run as similar website & forum in the UK, mainly aimed at vintage television restoration and have a large collection of TVs from 1967 - 1987. I recently acquired and yet to be delivered, Nordmende television from 1975, the model listed in the title above. I have vast amounts of service data but sadly nothing for this TV. I was wondering if anyone here might be able to help me with service data or at the very least a schematic. Not looking for a freebie, I'm happy to pay.
Best Regards Chris
p.s.
It's also missing the 5001 ultrasonic remote, I guess finding one of those will ne pretty much impossible.

Even you are not a member of the Radiomuseum, the schematic's are free available for download .... If you are not familiar with the procedure, let me know.....
Many thanks for your reply, I should have mentioned I had already downloaded that from the RM site, unfortunately it is only 7-pages and incomplete. It mostly covers the tuning for the 7.522 chassis, if it had been complete perhaps the 7.522 might well have been useful. I was perhaps misguided, but under the impression the TV I have is possibly the 8.522J. This is the trouble I'm having, firstly identifying the actual chassis and secondly obtaining the service data to aid me in the TVs restoration.
TV has finally arrived, it has a two tier chassis arrangement, plus other PCBs mounted at the front and side of the cabinet. It appears the main two chassis' employed are as follows:-
I logged in this morning to check to see if anyone had responded, the thread had gone! I eventually found it on page 6 of its topic section. Why has the date of the topic changed to 1.1.70
Is the forum broken in some way?
Evidence below
Edit: I see now I've added a post to the thread, it is back on the first page now, all very odd behaviour.
Not broken, but sometimes the forum software gets messed up. We at WGF are aware of the problem, and our forum operator, Wumpus, is trying to find solutions. Our Wumpus (Rainer) is the best person to answer your question.
Hello Chris! I just saw your report and request a little late. If you are still interested in clean Nordmende scans, I should like to help you for free! I fixed many of them, picked them up from curbside to resell them in the 80s.
Btw., I know your reports about TV-service from GB, some of them I translated to collect them in my service folders! Great stuff!
many thanks for taking the time to respond to my plea for help, happy to say the TV is now fully repaired and working well.
As luck would have it my forum (Radios-TV VRAT) has one of your countrymen as a member, Gunther knowing the German market places managed to find me a huge haul of ex TV engineer Nordmende service manuals for sale, which I purchased, this model TV was among those papers.
Armed with the correct data the repair a lot of the circuit now made sense. It was found that the TV had a three main faults, the thyristor PSU , the ultrasonic receiver, no user local controls function and the UHF tuner, all failed. I would imaging one or all of these were likely why the TV was eventually retired.
Thankfully all the faults were fixed, although I could not find the tuner or ultrasonic receiver ic in the UK. Once again with the help of Gunther I managed to source an original brand new UHF tuner on ebay.de as they would not ship to UK Gunther sorted it for me. I managed to also find the ic from ebay.de. CRT is in superb condition with plenty of emissions left. The TV is super rare for the UK and I doubt there is another over here, so I fully documented it just in case so others don't have the same troubles I had.
